India Trivia is a free trivia game. We collect as little as possible — essentially just an email address if you choose to subscribe to the weekly newsletter.

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect the email address you provide and the date you subscribed. We do not ask for your name or any other personal details. You can read and play the trivia on the website without providing any information at all.
We use your email address solely to send you the weekly India Trivia newsletter and, occasionally, important notices about the Service. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing.
We use trusted third-party providers to operate the Service — for example, an email delivery provider to send the newsletter and a cloud hosting provider to store subscriber records and serve the website. These providers process data only on our behalf.
The website itself does not set tracking cookies. Our hosting and content-delivery providers may log standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and operational purposes.
Our pages load the "Inter" and "Playfair Display" typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). When your browser requests these fonts, your IP address is transmitted to Google and handled under Google's Privacy Policy. We do not control, and are not responsible for, Google's processing of that information. If you prefer not to share it, you can block third-party requests in your browser.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email, or by emailing us. Once you unsubscribe, we remove your address from the relevant mailing list.
We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we remove it from active mailing lists.
India Trivia is operated from California. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you rights over the personal information we hold about you — which, for us, is essentially the email address and subscription date you provide if you sign up for the newsletter:
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@indiatrivia.com with the subject "California Privacy Request." We verify requests using the email address associated with your subscription and respond within the timeframes required by law. You may also use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months. Because we do not sell or share your information, there is no sale or sharing for you to opt out of — but you can still exercise any of the rights listed above by emailing support@indiatrivia.com.
The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above.
